Eligibility - Exercise Professional

• Nominees must be a Registered Exercises Professional with Fitness Australia at the time of nomination and remain registered for the entirety of the Awards Program
• Nominees must be actively employed in the fitness industry in an exercise professional capacity (e.g. instructor, trainer etc)

Eligibility - Business

• Nominees primary business must be in the offering of fitness services to the community (the does not exclude business that in addition to these services also offer other modalities and/or services, however submissions should and judging will only include the fitness activities)
• Suppliers to the industry (i.e. those whose customers are the fitness industry NOT the public) are ineligible.

Terms and Conditions

• The People's Choice Awards close on 31 July, 2009 at 5pm (please note, this is a revised deadline - previously Oct 09)
• Entries close to the Exercise Professional and Business Awards on 31 July, 2009 at 5pm.
• Nominations will be acknowledged by letter within 30 days of submission
• All information submitted in the awards process may be used by Fitness Australia for promotional and marketing purposes.
• Nominees will be advised if they have been successful as a finalist in their State/Territory by 31/08/2009. Finalist will be required to submit additional information
• Finalists are required to undertake activities and promotion in line with the award program at the request of Fitness Australia, this may include displaying or using Fitness Australia or partner product in their premises or while training members/clients.
• State/Territory Business Award winners will be required to host an event on their premises (or another appropriate place as agreed by Fitness Australia) in a limited time frame in October 2009.
• National Award Winners (Business Winners will need to send a senior person) will be required to travel to Perth from 13-15 November 2009.
